- 1 package extra firm Tofu
- 1 Bottle Carolina Flavors Stir fry sauce
- 1 green pepper, cut into 1-2 inch chunks
- 1 red pepper, cut into 1-2 inch chunks
- 1 red onion, cut into 1-2 inch chunks
- 1-2 zucchini/squash, cut into 1-2 inch chunks
To Prepare Tofu, Cut block in half to make two approximately one inch thick “steaks” Take the tofu steaks and place between multiple layers of paper towels and gently put a light weight on it and place on a plate in the fridge to drain for approximately 30 minutes. Change out paper towels as needed. Once tofu has drained, cut into one inch cubes and place in a shallow dish, pour stir fry sauce over tofu and stir to combine. Let marinate for 45 min or up to a few hours, stir occasionally to help marinate all sides. You will see it turning brown from the marinade. Finally before preparing skewers gently pat dry any excess marinade and begin to skewer with vegetables as instructed below.
Soak skewers in water for 10-15 minutes to prevent burning and splintering
Next skewer tofu alternating it with peppers, onions, and squash until you have all your skewers made.
Grill on Medium high heat turning often, Cook until tofu is warmed through and vegetables are tender.
