Trust us, you won’t taste the kale, but you’ll get all the benefits from the superfood in this protein packed anytime smoothie!
Yield: 2 Smoothies
- 1 Cup strawberries
- 1/4 C non fat plain greek yogurt
- 1 Tb Peanut butter (or nut butter of your choice)
- 2 Tsp honey
- 3/4 C unsweetened almond milk
- 1 medium banana
- 2 C lightly packed chopped kale leaves, washed well and stems removed
1. Add yogurt, almond milk, honey, and kale to smoothie and blend until kale is smooth as possible.
2. Add the rest of the ingredients, blend to combine.
3. Taste smoothie and adjust sweetness if necessary with a bit more honey.
Chef’s Pro Tip: If you prefer your smoothie a bit thicker you can add some ice as. If you prefer it on the thinner side, add a bit more almond milk.
