Apple Wedge Packers & Cider is a sixth-generation family-owned apple production business, third-generation packers, and second-generation cider makers located in Hendersonville NC near Asheville. They are dedicated to providing premium quality, mountain-grown apple products. Each year, they harvest their own apples grown on 200 acres in the community of Edneyville. Apple Wedge's packing and storage facilities are also used by many local apple growers. As a community minded leader in the wholesale industry, they encourage the growth of area apple production by employing new technology and developing new markets. As they strive to reduce their food waste, the "pomace" or byproduct food waste produced from the cider making process is given to local cattle farmers to supplement their cattle feed.
