- large bunch kale (curly, lacinato, etc.)
- 1 container Carolina Flavors caesar dressing
- ¼c shredded parmesan cheese
- 1c Carolina Flavors
Wash Kale well, remove large center stems and spin dry.
To cut kale, gather leaves into small tight bunches and carefully cut a very fine julienne. Because the kale will be consumed raw, it is important to cut it as fine as you can to make it easier to eat.
Combine the cut kale and croutons in a large mixing bowl. Sprinkle with half the cheese. Add dressing to taste, remembering that you can always add more dressing but you can’t take it out! Stir well, and using spoons or clean gloved hands, massage the dressing into the kale a bit. This will help it break down and make it a bit more tender.
Top the dressed salad with the remaining cheese if desired and enjoy!
