We love to highlight our Artisan Partners, and this week we’re thrilled to showcase Hillsborough Cheese Co., whose delectable products grace our menu each week.
Dorian West, co-owner with his wife Cindy of Hillsborough Cheese Company, loves cheese and the cheese business. They started the business in 2005 after living in France and falling in love with cheese. Each week they make, package, deliver and sell cheese at the farmers market.
But on many Saturday nights Dorian can be seen on stage as the lead singer and front man for his Cary-based band, Daddy’s Alright. The group is a rock n roll dance/party band playing all the dance favorites that everyone knows and loves. They play at private parties, local restaurants and bars and weddings from time to time. Their next public gig is at Tony’s Oyster Bar and Tap Room in Cary on November 6. So if you enjoy his cheese from The Produce Box, you also may enjoy rocking out to his band in any given Friday or Saturday night.
