Grilled BBQ Pork Chops

Spring into warmer weather with this easy dinner kit, complete with Carolina Flavors famous Southern Potato Salad!

Ingredients

  • 2 pack of pork chops
  • 1  8 oz. Carolina Flavors BBQ sauce
  • Zucchini sliced in ½ inch thick slices, lengthwise
  • Vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper

Directions

Heat your grill to high heat. Remove pork chops from packaging, put a very light coating of vegetable oil and season with salt and pepper.  This will help ensure they do not stick. Place pork chops on the grill and cook for 2 minutes on one side. After two minutes, do a quarter turn and cook for another 2 minutes on the same side. This will give you pretty grill marks but isn’t a necessary step. Turn and repeat the same two minute cooking process described above. Pork chop should be just cooked through. Using a grill brush, coat the pork chops with a nice layer of bbq sauce. Continue to grill for 1-2 minutes to caramelize the bbq sauce. Remove from the grill and let rest.

For the zucchini, toss in vegetable oil and salt and pepper. Add a bit of thyme if you have available. Grill for 1-2 minutes per side or until cooked to desired texture.

Serve pork chops with Carolina Flavors potato salad and grilled zucchini with a bit of bbq sauce on the side.
