Garlic-Herb Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Brussels sprouts
  • 2 oz. CF Garlic Herb Butter 
  • 1 Tb. Vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Preheat the oven to 400F.

Prepare the brussel sprouts by trimming off the bottom and picking off any leaves that need to be removed. Then quarter or halve the brussel sprouts depending on their size.
Heat a large skillet over medium high heat. Add butter and vegetable oil. Gently swirl butter in pan to melt.

Once butter is melted and it is bubbly, add brussel sprouts in an even layer to pan. Let sit without stirring. You are getting a good sear on your brussels Cook for 2-3 minutes. Give the pan a good shake, to loosen any stuck brussels and stir brussels to help get other sides seared. Place the pan in the oven and cook for 10-15 minutes or until the brussels are tender and nicely browned. If desired you can add a bit more butter when the brussel sprouts are done. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper and enjoy.
