As you all know, the western counties in our state have been completely devastated by Helene. Over a week later, thousands of people are still unaccounted for in areas without cell service, running water, or power, with some roads likely closed for months. This weekend and for the coming weeks, The Produce Box is offering Feeding Families Boxes for Western North Carolina on our menu for members to purchase so that our team can truck fresh produce up to small rural communities that need it most. However, to donate when our menu is not open (weekdays), or to donate if you are not a Produce Box member, you may donate via Paypal at anytime with these links below.
You may purchase a box for $25, $50, or $100, and even purchase multiple boxes if you choose. These funds will go directly to purchasing produce and covering our trucking expenses to get food up to the mountains. Read our post here for more information about how your donations will help.
