Cheesy Baked Ravioli


  • 1 container CF marinara sauce
  • 1 package Melina’s ravioli (use whichever variety you’d like!)
  • 8oz package Siano’s Mozzarella
  • Fresh Basil
  • Grated Parmesan (optional, not included in bundle)


Preheat oven to 350.

Cook ravioli according to package instructions (or a few seconds under) and drain.

In a 2-quart baking dish, spread a bit of the marinara, and shred a scant 1/4 cup of mozzarella on top. Layer the cooked ravioli gently on the layer of sauce and cheese, and then repeat, this time using as much sauce as you’d like, and most of the cheese. (You can either slice the cheese into 1/4″ thick rounds, or roughly shred by hand.

Sprinkle parmesan on top (if using) and bake for 20-25 minutes, until cheese is browned and sauce is bubbling.

Top with fresh, hand-torn basil before serving piping hot.


Chef’s Pro Tip: Fresh ravioli is very delicate, and can tear easily. To avoid this, don’t overcook, and after you add the ravioli to boiling water, reduce heat to medium high – it doesn’t take much heat to cook the little guys all way through!
